Buying art online means trusting a picture on a screen. We know that’s a leap, so here’s our side of the deal in plain English. If your print isn’t right, we’ll put it right. No small T&Cs, no awkward questions.
Changed your mind? That’s allowed. You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to send a print back for a full refund. It doesn’t matter why. Wrong size for the wall, colours that don’t sit right with your sofa, or you simply went off it. All of it counts.
To start a return, just get in touch with your order number and we’ll sort the rest. Send the print back in its original condition and packaging where you can, and we’ll refund you once it arrives back with us.
Frames are covered too. If you ordered a framed print and want to return it, the same 30 days apply.
Personalised pieces work a little differently, and it’s worth being upfront about why. All our personalised art is a one-off piece created in the studio and made to order specifically for you, so we can’t restock or resell it. That means we can’t accept returns on personalised items if you change your mind.
What we absolutely will do is fix anything that’s our fault. If your personalised piece arrives damaged, or there’s a defect in the print itself, contact us and we’ll replace it or refund you. You’re never stuck with a faulty item just because it was made to order.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
It’s rare, but post is post and sometimes a parcel has a rough journey. If your print turns up damaged, creased, or not as it should be, take a quick photo of the damage and the packaging, then contact us with your order number.
Once we’ve seen the photos we’ll send a replacement or issue a full refund, whichever you’d prefer. Most damage claims are sorted within a day or two of you getting in touch.
Get in touch. Use our contact page and include your order number and the reason for the return. A sentence is plenty.
We reply with the details. You’ll get the return address and anything else you need.
Send it back. Pack the print up securely, ideally in its original packaging.
Refund on arrival. As soon as the return reaches us, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method. Refunds will be processed immediately, but can take a few days to reach your account, depending on your bank.
A returns policy is easier to offer when not much comes back. Every print is produced here in the UK on 300GSM gallery paper with a matte finish, and our solid wood frames come in black, white, or oak. Orders are checked by hand before they leave, which is why so few of them ever make the return journey.
We’re not asking you to take our word for it either. We have a phenomenal rating on Trustpilot as you can see below:
I started Happy Art Prints in Leeds, and I still run it from here with a small dedicated team. When something goes wrong with an order, it lands on our desks, not in a ticket queue that some robot takes over. The promise on this page exists because it’s how I’d want to be treated if I were buying from us. If we’ve ever fallen short of it, please get in touch and tell me. Because if you’re not happy, I’m not happy.
Ben, FounderOur FAQ page covers delivery, sizing, and everything else, or you can contact us directly. And when you’re ready, there are hundreds of designs waiting in the shop, each one covered by everything on this page.
